Having trouble find something nice to play on your smartphone? Then you should try out Alto’s Adventure, a 2D platformer for iOS and Android devices. Remember Temple Run, where you had to dodge obstacles and run away from creepy creatures while collecting tons of coins?
Alto’s Adventure proposes the same type of gameplay, but more…peaceful approach. Basically, you’ll have to ski your way down the slope, collecting coins along the way. The game features hundreds of obstacles, beautiful 2D landscapes, a smooth soundtrack, and promises hours of entertainment.
Since it was released, the game published by Build By Snowman, received countless of positive comments. Encouraged by the feedback, the developers started working on a new title called Alto’s Odyssey.
According to Build By Snowman Studios, the game is scheduled to hit the market somewhere in 2017. Other than that, we don’t know much about the upcoming title. The game’s developer said that the new game would have similar gameplay mechanics, uplifting soundtrack, but the setting will be different.
Try as we might, but we were unable to dig up more details about Alto’s Odyssey. The game’s official page offers some vague details about the upcoming title. For example, when accessing the Alto’ Odyssey official page, you will be greeted by an animated 2D scenery depicting a shadowy mountain range, with what looks like gothic castles, and watch towers.
There are other details in the picture that may shed light on Alto’s Odyssey such as the hot air balloon in the background, or the exotic peacock-like bird perched upon the tower of a shadowy edifice. There are a lot of trees on the mountain range. One look at the picture reminds the users of the first scenes of Far Cry 4.
But these are mere speculations. The developer seems to want to keep a closed lid on the game.
When it is released, Alto’s Odyssey will be compatible with Android and iOS devices. Moreover, the game’s developers are thinking of making a Windows version of the game.
If you want to receive regular updates on the upcoming Alto’s title, then you should create an account on the game’s official page. All you’ll need to do is type in your e-mail address, and you’ll receive news about the game on a weekly or monthly basis.
