On Tuesday, the Colorado authorities arrested a former Cross Roads Community Church youth pastor who allegedly had illicit affairs with three underaged girls. According to the youth pastor’s arrest warrant, the victims were all members of the pastor’s seminar, and the man had sex with each one of them at least one.
Colorado Youth Pastor Sends Sexually Explicit Birthday Card to Victim
Former youth pastor Joshua Clemons was arrested on Tuesday by Parker authorities and charged with several counts of sexual assault. According to the authorities, following a complaint filed by a 17-year-old girl, it was discovered that during his tenure at the Cross Road Community Church, Clemons engaged in reprehensible behavior with at least three underage female students.
The records reveal that the youth pastor has worked at the church from 2008 to 2017. His latest victim is a 17-year-old student who recently told 18. The woman told the authorities that the youth pastor took her to his house at least a couple of times where they’ve had consensual sex.
Allegedly, soon after the girl turned 18, the Colorado youth pastor sent her a sexually explicit birthday card in which he wrote that their relationship is now legitimate. According to the authorities, soon after she graduated from the Colorado State University, the victim decided to break up with Clemons.
However, the former youth pastor could not come to terms with the woman’s decision and continued stalking her on social media and showing up at church to check up on her.
The man has been arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault. Given the fact that Clemons was a teacher when he had sexual relations with the girls, he might also be charged with sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust.
