A Missouri news outlet reported that a 25-year-old woman from Florida died shortly after undergoing a plastic surgery procedure. Shortly after a routine plastic surgery procedure called the Brazilian butt lift, 25-year-old Ranika Hall died. At the moment, the Missouri health authorities have refused to release any information pertaining to Hall’s death. Oddly enough, back in 2016, another person died after opting for this procedure at the same clinic where Hall had her procedure.
Hall’s story began soon after she gave birth. According to the woman’s relative, after having her child, Ranika became very concerned with her image and decided to take action. Despite her family begging her to abandon this course of action, Hall decided otherwise.
And so, on the 15th of March, Ranika Hall went to the Eres Plastic Surgery Clinic in order to have a Brazilian butt lift. According to Hall’s medical file, the woman was in good health, and there were no medical objections toward her undergoing surgery.
However, according to a clinic’s spokesperson, shortly after the surgeon completed the procedure, the Hialeah Fire Department was called the Eres Plastic Surgery Clinic. It appears that Ranika Hall stopped breathing and lost consciousness. The paramedics tried to resuscitate the woman but to no avail. Hall was declared dead at the scene, and an official inquiry has been started.
Pending the results of Hall’s autopsy, the officials have refrained from releasing any information regarding the woman’s death. Surprisingly enough, it appears that Hall was not the only patient to succumb after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift surgery.
According to the Hialeah Police Department, in May 2016, another woman has died after undergoing a similar procedure. An Eres Plastic Surgery Clinic spokesperson declared that this is a routine plastic procedure and that their physicians performed it on multiple patients.
The Brazilian butt lift surgery implies using a liposuction machine in order to suck the fat out of the gluteus maximus section, and reinjecting it. The suction and redistribution processes improve the aspect of this area. Such a procedure costs around $3500, and although it involved over 12 points of liposuction, it is regarded as being low risk.
Nicole Hall, Ranika’s mother, has set up a GoFundMe account in order to raise the money necessary for her daughter’s funeral. At the moment, she managed to raise approximately $6,000, but she’s still $1,000 short.
